Lance Jaques is the pastor of the Pentecostal Chapel in Fort Good Hope. He received his call to come North in April of 1999, just shortly after graduating from N.B.C., and arrived in Fort Good Hope in July. The church continues to flourish, as people are drawn to the truth in God's word. Lance has helped build a vibrant church, and opened his home for weekly meetings. They have also started an outreach program to the nearby communities up and down the Mackenzie River, and also Colville Lake.

Fort Good Hope is situated on the north bank of the Mackenzie River, just south of the Arctic Circle.

PEOPLE: There is a population of 551 people, mostly Dene in Fort Good Hope.
