Canada's North - the forgotten mission field. The Great Commission of Christ is to "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel. " Have we missed our own backyard? The harvest is partially ripe, but some places still need seed sown. Help us to take the message of salvation and deliverance through Jesus Christ to our own people of the North.
In the past many faithful believers from all over Canada and even the world came to the Northwest Territories to help establish and build the Pentecostal Sub-Arctic Mission. Most lived in Hay River, NWT and worked in the hospital or whatever job their training allowed. They turned part of their wages over to help support the ongoing mission work. In 1995 H.H. Williams Memorial Hospital was taken over by the Government of the NWT and was no longer within the mandate of the Pentecostal Sub-Arctic Mission. As a result, this source of revenue has been discontinued. Our goal now is to build enough support to continue spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the North. The time is drawing near when we will have to become totally self-supporting, or be forced to shut down. It is the prayers and financial support of interested and faithful people like yourself, that would be of the greatest assistance to this mission right now.
I know you would not be reading this if you did not have an interest in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and maybe even in assisting in a particular mission, so for information on how you or your church can get involved, please Contact Us:
