Often times people ask, "What can I do to help the Pentecostal Sub-Arctic Mission?" Prayer for the work is of the highest importance. The battle in the North is not so much the physical obstacles but the spiritual darkness that seems to hover over the Territories. We need prayers for our Pastors, mission staff and of course the people we want to reach.
Since the Mission does not receive any funding from the District Office or the National Office, the Mission is solely reliant on the contributions of people like yourself. Now that we don't have mission workers that are supporting the stations full time like in the past, we are looking for support from around the world. This is a mission field that many have felt a burden for. Yet, we are looking for more ongoing support to enable these workers to efficiently spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the north.
Finally, you may have a desire to minister or Pastor here in the North. with the expanding vision of the Mission, labourers are needed for the vineyard. Currently we have three stations open that we are looking to fill. The person to fill that may be you.
The opportunities to serve the Pentecostal Sub-Arctic Mission are numerous. Be a part of what God is doing in the Northwest Territories. Seek the Lord and see how God wants you to be involved. Who knows - maybe we will see you here?
